Why, hello there. Since Deric has posted his very own post, it's time I did one of my own ;)
At the very early stages of our wedding planning, Deric and I were pondering over how we'd like to do our save-the-date invitations. In the end, we decided that we'd like something simple that we could design and put together all by ourselves.
Deric said, "Let's take a pic and make it look like a comic strip and use it for the save-the-dates."
But I responded, "No, I have a better idea! Let's take a pic and make it look like a comic strip and use it for the save-the-dates."
So... anyway...
Those of you who have already seen the Facebook page or received the invitation via email would probably already know that that is exactly what we did.
We downloaded a software from the Web that is called
Comic Life and then set out to snap a few pictures of ourselves. Now, here is where the interesting part began.
You see, we decided that we would take individual shots of each other and then combine them into one picture.
So Deric went first...
One snap, and he was done.
But then came my turn...
Oh dear, that's not quite it.
And FINALLY...
Sigh. Looks like my face has a life of its own. And Deric used to say HE was the one that is not photogenic. Hmm.
Well, I guess I am awfully thankful that there's such a thing as digital cameras these days that allows us to go trigger happy without incurring a single sen in the process.Teehee :D
